Today was my first day of my internship. It was rad. The kids were very nice.
Summary of Today
The first thing we did was a Socratic Seminar. I helped with the video camera. The conversations were pretty interesting. The kids are very bright and energetic. Everything went pretty well. After the break, we went to an awards assembly. Then we came back and set up the wifi on the Kindles. After that was PE and lunch. Everyone was just full of energy. Quite different from high school. When we came back from lunch, the kids worked on their projects and I supervised a little boy take a test and build a video game.
It is now 14:14 and they are setting up for a news broadcast. We're expecting a good 35 more kids coming in to the classroom, so we'll see how that goes.
